Corporate Legal Director / Senior Associate

An ambitious and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Corporate Solicitor (5+PQE) at Legal Director or Senior Associate level to join its growing Corporate team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful team with an impressive corporate offering, advising a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses and large corporates to PLCs, on both domestic and international transactions.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload and client relationships, handling high-value and complex corporate matters with a high degree of autonomy and minimal partner supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, management buyouts and joint ventures.
• Handling corporate reorganisations, restructurings and governance matters.
• Managing client relationships and providing commercially focused legal advice.
• Supervising and supporting junior lawyers, contributing to their ongoing development.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to identify opportunities and deliver a joined-up service.
• Contributing to business development, networking and the continued growth of the team.

Requirements

• Currently operating as a Corporate Legal Director or an experienced Senior Associate (5+PQE).
• Strong technical experience across a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, private equity, buyouts and joint ventures.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and client relationships with limited partner supervision.
• Experience supervising and supporting junior team members.
• A proactive approach to business development and an interest in contributing to the wider growth of the department.
