Real Estate Finance Paralegal

Please note this is a full-time, office-based career Paralegal position and is not suitable for candidates seeking Qualifying Work Experience

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join an established Legal 500 firm and support a busy Real Estate Finance team, working across a broad range of transactions for lenders, borrowers and investors.

The role will involve supporting matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, working closely with fee earners and clients in a busy, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Supporting fee earners with real estate finance transactions from instruction through to completion.

·      Reviewing property titles, conducting due diligence and carrying out relevant searches.

·      Drafting and amending legal documents, security documents, reports and correspondence.

·      Assisting with conditions precedent, reports on title and certificates of title.

·      Liaising with lenders, borrowers, solicitors, valuers, agents and other third parties.

·      Assisting with transaction completions, drawdowns and completion statements.

·      Managing post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and Companies House registrations.

·      Monitoring transaction deadlines and maintaining accurate matter files.

Requirements:

·      Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Administrator within a law firm.

·      Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.

·      Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

·      Experience within Real Estate Finance, Commercial Property or Banking would be advantageous.

·      Familiarity with title reviews, property due diligence and Land Registry applications would be beneficial.
