The Opportunity

We are seeking an Operations Resilience & Resilience Analyst to join a growing resilience and risk team supporting clients in strengthening their ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from operational disruption.

This role would suit an individual with experience across operational resilience, business continuity, risk management, crisis management or operational risk, who is looking to develop their career within a consulting environment.

You will work with senior stakeholders and client teams to assess resilience capabilities, identify vulnerabilities and develop practical strategies that improve organisational preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of operational resilience and business continuity engagements for clients.
• Conduct operational resilience assessments, maturity assessments and gap analyses.
• Support the identification and assessment of critical business services, processes and dependencies.
• Undertake business impact analysis, scenario analysis and resilience assessments.
• Assist clients with the development and testing of business continuity and crisis management plans.
• Support scenario exercising, including tabletop exercises and crisis simulations.
• Analyse operational, technology, third-party and organisational dependencies.
• Identify resilience gaps, vulnerabilities and emerging risks and translate these into actionable recommendations.
• Produce high-quality client reports, presentations, analysis and supporting documentation.
• Conduct research into emerging resilience threats, regulatory developments and industry best practice.
• Support senior consultants in client workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Help develop resilience frameworks, methodologies, policies and operating models.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

You should be comfortable working with complex information, identifying patterns and translating analysis into practical recommendations.

Essential:

• Experience within operational resilience, business continuity, operational risk, crisis management or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in consulting.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable:

• Consulting or professional services experience.
• Financial services experience.
• Knowledge of operational resilience regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with critical business services.
• Experience conducting scenario exercises or simulations.
• Knowledge of third-party and technology resilience.
• Relevant qualifications such as CBCI, MBCI, IRM, CISM, CRISC or equivalent.
