Overview

Gateworth Group is supporting an innovative technology client in the UAE that is strengthening its quality engineering function and building out a dedicated QA leadership capability. They’re hiring a QA Team Lead who can guide a mixed team of QA Engineers and SDETs, shape testing strategy, and ensure high‑quality delivery across complex systems.

This role suits someone who enjoys both technical and people leadership, someone who can set direction, build discipline, and maintain strong quality standards across fast‑moving engineering teams. The team has multiple locations globally, giving you the flexibility to work on-site and even remotely if you are not near one of the hubs.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a QA team responsible for both manual and automated testing

• Set the overall QA strategy covering functional, regression, and performance validation

• Oversee integration of QA workflows into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing

• Coordinate test planning and execution with engineering leads across multiple system layers

• Ensure test cycles are delivered on time and meet quality expectations

• Represent QA in release discussions, design reviews, and broader engineering forums

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading QA teams within networking, systems software, or similar technical domains

• Strong background in test automation and an understanding of modern network environments

• Familiarity with core routing and datacenter networking concepts

• Experience managing QA processes within CI/CD‑driven engineering environments

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and influence engineering teams
